Description: The Australian Technical College - Northern Adelaide is one of twenty five new technical colleges being established around Australia by the Australian Government to provide young people with the skills needed for a successful trade career. The College offers an alternative to the traditional Year 11 and 12 pathway by integrating SACE subjects with trades, business and life skills. It allows students to combine study for their SACE with Certificate III trade training through the Australian School-based Apprenticeship (ASbA) scheme.

Description: The Australian Technical College - Spencer Gulf & Outback is one of 25 Australian Government funded colleges set up around Australia and one of 3 in South Australia. Students in the ATC become Australian School Based Apprentices (ASbA) and complete paid work for a local employer and complete around 1/3 of their full apprenticeship whilst still at school. The students also complete their South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) at the same time.
